Vampire and Witch Trick-or-Treat Pair Under an Owl

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the grass bushes and the grass patches in a soft grass green, leaving the path area light.
- 2Fill the owl with light tan, then add burnt sienna to its wings and the tree branch, and a golden yellow beak. Leave the owl's eye whites white.
- 3Color the boy's cape in crimson red with charcoal gray on the outer parts, and give his vest, shirt collar and the witch's dress a pale gray or purple fill, keeping the collar white.
- 4Add the witch's hat in charcoal gray with a purple band, then color the girl's hair bright yellow and her face and arms in peach skin.
- 5Fill the two pumpkin buckets in pumpkin orange with mocha brown handles, and color the boy's pants, shoes and the bats in charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the cape edges and along the path with a second, deeper shade so the details pop.
