Kids Picking Mushrooms in the Forest Together
Coloring guide
A smiling boy in a baseball cap holds up a large mushroom in one hand while carrying a woven basket full of more mushrooms in the other. He wears a long-sleeve shirt, pants, and tall boots, and he has freckles on his cheeks. Beside him, a girl with a bow in her hair kneels on the ground and holds a small knife as she reaches for another mushroom growing near tufts of grass. Two tall evergreen trees stand behind them, along with a rounded bush on the right. The basket has a checkered weave pattern that is fun to color in two alternating shades. This free printable also works well for a fall nature lesson, since kids can color the mushroom caps in different browns and tans and talk about why we never pick or taste wild mushrooms without an expert.
