- 1Start with the big areas: color the wood floor and the outer part of the round rug in soft apricot and turquoise, and leave the inner ring of the rug cream yellow.
- 2Fill the sky in the round window with light sky blue and add pale blue clouds, then color the tree tops leaf green and the sun lemon yellow, keeping the window frame and the wall space white.
- 3Color the big bean bag chair lemon yellow and its polka dot pillow bright blue, then paint the cat and its round bed in tangerine orange and bright blue.
- 4Give the boy his denim blue jeans, bright blue hoodie, chestnut brown hair and skin peach face and hands, leaving the eye whites and little highlights white. Color his open book leaf green.
- 5Add the girl's lavender purple sweater, skin peach face, and tomato red book, then color the shelves and wooden edges tangerine orange and the books on the shelves in mixed colors.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the rug and the bean bag with a slightly darker shade of the same color to make the scene look cozier.
