Kids Scrubbing Golf Gear in a Soapy Bucket
Coloring guide
Two kids in bucket hats and polo shirts are cleaning their golf gear over a big bucket of soapy water. The boy has a small brush in one hand and a dimpled golf ball in the other. The girl, who wears a bow on her hat, scrubs the head of a golf club while water drops fly off it. Soap bubbles drift all around, and three more golf balls sit on the grass beside the bucket. In the background there's a golf bag with clubs leaning on a wooden fence, a lawn sprinkler spraying in the distance, and a few bushes. Soft blues and purples would suit the bubbles, and bright green works for the grass. Print this sheet at home for an easy afternoon activity. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the grass, bushes and trees in leaf green and grass green, leaving the sky and the sprinkler spray white.
- 2Color the bucket and the golf bag in bright blue and royal blue, keeping the soapy foam white.
- 3Fill the boy's polo shirt in red, the girl's polo shirt in lavender purple and her skirt in hot pink, then add tan shorts for the boy.
- 4Color the boy's hat crown in bright blue with a royal blue brim and band, and the girl's hat in rose pink with a hot pink bow.
- 5Add peach skin tones to faces, arms and legs, chestnut brown hair for the boy and sunflower yellow hair for the girl, then color the shoes in royal blue and lavender purple.
- 6Optional: add light blue to the floating bubbles and bucket suds, and use a little steel blue to shade the bench for depth.
