Kitten on a Gingerbread House Roof Under the Moon

Coloring guide
Up on the roof of the gingerbread house sits a smiling striped kitten with a little heart tag on its collar and its tail curled up behind. It's right next to a brick chimney with a frosted cap. The roof has wavy icing edges, round candy dots and a big heart in the middle. Below are an arched door with vertical planks, two heart-shaped windows with crossbars, more candy dots, and candy-cane striped posts at the corners. A crescent moon and several stars of different sizes fill the sky, and small snowy bushes sit in the bottom corners. Thick, clear outlines and roomy shapes make it a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Pink and red are nice for the hearts, soft brown for the walls, and orange stripes for the kitten. A free printable for a cozy winter activity at home or class. - 3Paint the pink roof frosting with bubblegum pink, then add the round roof dots in sky blue, mint green, golden yellow, coral orange, and cherry red.
- 4Color the house walls with gingerbread tan, the chimney bricks with caramel brown, and the arched door with caramel brown and chocolate brown, leaving the snowy chimney cap white.
- 5Add the candy cane poles in cherry red and blush pink stripes, color the big heart and heart window frames cherry red, fill the window panes with pale blue, and color the bushes forest green.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along one side of the roof and the chimney to make the gingerbread look extra cozy.
