Snowflakes Falling Around a Gingerbread House with Candy Cane Door
Coloring guide
Snow is piled thick on this cozy little gingerbread house, and wavy icing and pointed icicles hang from the roof edges. On the left, a brick chimney wears a snowy cap, and a round peppermint swirl window sits just under the roof peak. A candy cane frames the arched door, which has a heart cut into it, and a four-pane window with a snowy top sits on each side. Rows of round gumdrop dots decorate the walls, and striped candy cane posts mark the corners. To the right stands a small scalloped pine tree. Snowy mounds gather at the base, and snowflakes and tiny snow dots fill the sky. Red and white suit the candy canes, brown is nice for the walls, and the gumdrop dots can be any bright colors you like. The free PDF prints easily at home. - 3Fill the window panes in sky blue and the window sills in golden yellow, leaving the snow caps on top of the windows white.
- 4Color the tree in sage green and grass green, add the gumdrops in candy red and grass green, and shade the tree trunk in chocolate brown.
- 5Optional: Add a little cool gray to the bottom tree and warm brown gray shading on the peppermint swirl for depth.
- 6Finish with the snowflakes in sky blue and leave the background and ground snow white.
