Koala Clinging to a Eucalyptus Branch With Leaves

Koala Clinging to a Eucalyptus Branch With Leaves coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A koala hugs a tall tree trunk with one arm wrapped around it and one foot gripping the bark below. Its head is turned toward you, with round ears, small dark eyes, and a big oval nose. The fur is drawn with short jagged lines along the ears, cheek, belly, and arm, which gives it a fluffy look. Leafy stems branch off the trunk at the top, on the right side, and near the bottom, and each stem has a few pointed leaves. The outlines are thick and clean, so it works well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try soft grays and browns for the koala, then pick two shades of green for the leaves so the animal stands out from the branches. This free printable also fits nicely into a lesson on Australian animals and what koalas eat.
