Large Five Point Star Over Nativity Stable

A big five-pointed star fills most of the page, drawn with solid outer lines and dashed lines running from each tip and inner corner to a small dark dot at the center. Those dashed lines make the star look folded, like a paper craft. Below the lowest points, a simple open stable hangs from a thin vertical line, with a slanted roof and four posts. Inside and around it are a kneeling figure in the middle, a camel on the left, a spotted cow or calf on the right, and two sheep standing in front. Try coloring each section of the star in a slightly different shade of yellow or gold, so the dashed lines become the edges of each color. Kids can also practice counting the five points, then pick natural colors for the animals underneath. It's a nice choice for a Christmas table or classroom.
