Banana-Curved Dolphin Leaping, Tail Toward Lower Left

Coloring guide
A single dolphin arcs through the air with its body curved like a banana and its tail pointing down toward the lower left corner. The tall dorsal fin rises from the middle of its back, and one pectoral fin angles down from the side near the head. A second, smaller flipper peeks out behind it. The dolphin has a long, narrow beak with a visible mouth line, and one small round eye with a tiny pupil sits just above it. A curved line along the belly sets off the lighter underside from the back. There is no background at all, so the white space is open for kids to fill in. Try coloring the back a deeper blue-gray and leaving the belly pale, then talk about how real dolphins often have two-toned bodies. The thick, smooth outlines work well for crayons and markers. This free printable suits younger children as well as older kids who like to add their own waves.
