Mother Dolphin and Her Grinning Baby Near Coral

Coloring guide
A large dolphin curves through the water with a wide smile, one flipper held out in front of it and its tail flukes flipped up on the left. Close by, a smaller baby dolphin tilts its head back with a cheerful open-mouthed grin. Tall wavy strands of seaweed rise behind them, and ruffled coral shapes cover the seafloor below, along with a cluster of tube-shaped sponges in the bottom corner. A string of round bubbles of different sizes floats up on the right side of the page. The big open areas on the dolphins are great for crayons or markers, and the many bubbles are good for practicing small, careful circles. For a simple learning idea, color the adult in darker blues and the baby in a lighter shade, then talk about how young dolphins stay close to their mothers. This page is free to print, so it is easy to make extra copies for a group.
