Dolphin Diving Nose First With Tail Swinging Up

Dolphin Diving Nose First With Tail Swinging Up printable coloring page

Coloring guide

A single dolphin arcs through the air with its nose pointed down toward the lower left and its tail flukes swinging up at the right. The body is drawn in clean, thick outlines with a tall dorsal fin on top, one pectoral flipper hanging below, and a long curved line along the side that marks the belly. You can see a small round eye, a little curved smile near the beak, and a tiny mark on the forehead. The tail has two wide flukes with a notch between them. There is no background, so kids can add their own water, sky, or splashes. Try coloring the top of the body in a darker gray or blue and leaving the belly lighter, then talk about how real dolphins often have two-toned skin. The big open areas are easy for younger children to fill in.
