Leaping Spotted Deer with Large Antlers

Coloring guide
A spotted deer is caught mid-leap, facing left with its head stretched forward and its legs tucked and kicking beneath its body. It has a large set of branching antlers, one ear angled back, and a single eye with long lashes. Round oval spots are scattered across its back and side, about a dozen in all, and each one is a roomy outline that is easy to color in. The short tail flicks up at the back. The lines are clean and fairly thick, which suits younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try browns and tans for the body, then leave the spots white or fill them with a lighter cream so they stand out. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on how deer move and why fawns and some species have spots.
