Leprechaun on a Stone Window Ledge With His Pipe

A smiling leprechaun stands on a stone window ledge, looking out over a grassy hill. He wears a buckled hat with a shamrock tucked in the brim, a bow tie, a buttoned vest, a jacket, and curled-toe shoes with buckles. A small pipe sits in his mouth, and a few soap-like bubbles float beside him. Outside, a rainbow arcs down from the sky into a big pot piled with coins, with more coins scattered on the ground. Three spotted mushrooms and lots of tiny shamrocks fill the grass, and two puffy clouds sit in the sky. The wooden window frame gives the page a nice border. Try coloring the rainbow in bands, one stripe at a time, and then ask kids to name the colors in order. Gold and yellow crayons will make the coins stand out against the green hill.
