Letter W With Stacked Watermelon Slices

A big capital letter W sits in the middle of the page with watermelon slices stacked behind it. Three slices run across the top, and more rounded slices sit in the middle and bottom rows, with their curved rinds facing down. Each slice has small teardrop-shaped seeds scattered across the flesh and a thick rind outline along the edge. The W has a bold block shape with a slight shadow, so it stands out clearly from the fruit. The large open spaces inside the letter are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the W in a bright solid color, then use red or pink for the flesh, green for the rinds, and black or brown for the seeds. This is a handy printable for practicing the W sound with words like watermelon, and for talking about fruit that starts with the same letter.
