Two Pears Hanging From a Leafy Branch

Coloring guide
Two large pears hang from a thin branch, one tucked partly behind the other. The front pear has a short curved stem and a rounded bottom with a few small shading lines near the lower right edge. The pear behind it leans out to the left, and a small rough calyx marks its base. Three pointed leaves with visible veins sit around the fruit, two on the left side and one on the right. The branch runs across the top and extends past both edges of the page. The big open areas on the pears are easy for small hands to fill in. Try yellow-green on one pear and a warm golden-brown on the other, then use the leaf veins to practice switching between two shades of green. This free printable also works well for a quick talk about how pears grow on trees.
