Watermelon Wedge Resting on Its Curved Rind

Coloring guide
A single wedge of watermelon sits on its curved rind, drawn with bold, thick black lines. The thick outer rind curves along the bottom and left side, with a thinner band inside it that separates the rind from the flesh. A straight line runs across the top edge, and its tip pokes out a little past the right corner. Ten or so seeds are scattered across the flesh, each a little different in size and tilt, and a few have small white highlights inside. The big open spaces make this an easy page for younger kids to color. Try green for the rind, a lighter green or white for the inner band, and red or pink for the flesh, then leave the seeds black or brown. It is also a handy printable for counting the seeds out loud together.
