Ribbed Tomato with Twisting Sepals and Curly Stem

Coloring guide
One large, plump tomato fills most of the page, drawn with bold outlines and a few curved lines running down from the top to show its ribbed shape. A star-shaped cluster of narrow, twisting sepals sits around the little curled stem. Behind the fruit, three jagged leaves with thin vein lines poke out at the upper left and upper right, and a fourth leaf peeks out at the lower left corner. The big open areas are easy for small hands to fill in. Try red or orange for the tomato, then use two or three shades of green on the leaves so the veins stand out. This free printable also works well for a garden or healthy eating lesson, since kids can talk about where tomatoes grow and which part is the stem.
