- 1Start with the pool water and sky: color the pool water in sky blue and add a few wavy lines of royal blue for ripples, leaving the sky background white.
- 2Color the lifebuoy in bright red, leaving the white band around its middle unpainted.
- 3Fill the chair with wood brown, covering the backrest, seat, armrests, legs and footrests.
- 4Color the umbrella with golden yellow and royal blue panels, adding deep red and mustard yellow on the lower sections.
- 5Paint the bushes in leaf green and the grass strip in light green, then shade the pool edge and ladder in light gray.
- 6Add the swimmers' skin in peach skin, their hair in golden yellow, mustard yellow and tangerine orange, and finish the deck in warm beige. Optional: add a little darker blue under the swimmers for depth.
