Swimming Day Gear: Goggles, Cap, Kickboard, Flip-Flops, Shorts and Towel
Coloring guide
Six pool-day items sit neatly lined up on this page, so kids can take them one at a time. Along the top are swim goggles with a stretchy strap and a rounded swim cap that has a sweet smiling face and sparkly eyes. The middle holds a big kickboard with two oval handle cutouts, beside a pair of flip-flops with thin straps. Down at the bottom, a thick striped towel is folded next to swim shorts with a tied drawstring and little pockets. There's no background at all, which leaves loads of white space for bold colors. A yellow cap and a sky blue kickboard would look cheerful, and the shorts could get any pattern you like. No sign-up needed, just save the free PDF. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the kickboard, the cap's side panels, the top goggles strap and the towel's top and bottom sections with bright blue, leaving the middle towel stripe and the middle goggles strap white.
- 2Fill both shorts legs with coral red, then color the waistband and the leg hems bright blue.
- 3Color both flip-flop soles and their upper parts turquoise, and color the thongs orange.
- 4Fill the goggles lenses with light sky blue, color the nose bridge slate gray and the strap buckle deep blue, and color the towel's groove deep blue.
- 5Color the cap's bottom band and the two kickboard handholds golden yellow, keeping the cap's face white with black eyes.
- 6Optional: add light shading with a slightly darker blue on the kickboard and towel edges to give them some depth.
