Little Crowned Lion Cub on a Heart Throne to Color
Coloring guide
A cheerful cub sits upright on a little throne, wearing a pointed crown with round beads on top and two stars and a heart on the front. It has big sparkly eyes, a tiny open smile, whiskers and a tuft of hair, so it's easy to love. A cape covered in stars drapes over its shoulders and fastens at the neck with a round button. The tail curls up beside the chair with a fluffy tip. The throne has heart-shaped armrests, and the front of the seat carries a large heart between two stars. With no background scenery, there's plenty of clean space for little hands. Golden yellow is nice for the crown, soft purple or red for the cape, and pink for the hearts. A free printable that suits preschoolers and early elementary kids. This fits right in with our Lion coloring pages — see also Bat and Cow.

- 2Color the lion's belly and paws cream, then fill the seat cushion with ocean blue.
- 3Fill the cape with cherry red and the chair back with royal blue and bright blue, then add navy blue in the shadow under the paws.
- 4Add the crown in lemon yellow with a cherry red heart and ocean blue stars, then color the tail amber orange with a chocolate brown tip and the nose light brown.
- 5Finish with a rose pink mouth and soft pink inner ears, and add lemon yellow stars and a brooch on the cape and collar. Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color along one side for depth.
