Dandelion Wishes with a Little Fairy
Coloring guide
With puffed-out cheeks, a little fairy girl blows on a big dandelion puff, and tiny seeds drift up and away. She has big sparkly eyes, a hair bun with a small flower tucked in, and a scalloped petal-style dress with puffy sleeves. Two large leaf-shaped wings sit behind her, and she wears simple flat shoes. Standing on a few tufts of grass, she holds the long dandelion stem in both hands. About six loose seeds float across the upper right of the page. Wide, open shapes are easy for small hands, and the dandelion's fine lines give older kids something to sink into. Soft lavender or pink for the dress and wings, sunny yellow for the hair flower and fresh green grass make a nice set. Save it as a free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. Fans of Fairy coloring pages often like Vampire and Yeti as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the dress skirt, bodice, both sleeves, and both shoes with rose pink, leaving the flower in the hair for later.
- 2Fill both large wings and the small wing edge behind the shoulder with sky blue, keeping the wing outlines crisp.
- 3Color the face, neck, both arms, the hand holding the wand, the ears, and both legs and ankles with light peach.
- 4Use warm brown for the hair bun and the loose strands around the face, then add the rose pink flower on the bun.
- 5Color the center of the dandelion lime yellow and leave all the seeds white so they stand out against the background.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of sky blue along the wing edges and warm brown under the hair bun for a little depth.
