A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big body areas: color the cat's head, body, tail and legs in orange, leaving the chest highlight and the eye shines white.
- 2Fill the cream parts next: the two front paws, the left foot and the left paw holding the book, plus the small forehead marking.
- 3Color the book cover in royal blue, keeping the open pages white.
- 4Add the lantern: use red for the cap and base, light blue for the glass panels, and pale yellow around the bottom glow, leaving the handle white.
- 5Color the star and the swirl in golden yellow, then fill the flame inside the lantern with the same golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Finish with small details like a pink tongue and the white eye highlights so the face sparkles.
