On the ocean, a smiling young turtle with a spiky crest sits in a small wooden sailboat and steers with a ship's wheel. A round cannon-like gadget with curled tubes is mounted on its shell and points toward the big striped sail, which has leaf and swirl patterns to color. A tall lighthouse and a little house stand on a rocky, tree-covered point behind the boat. Three seagulls glide through puffy clouds, and a mountain rises on the far shore. Rippled water and small foamy waves surround the boat. Soft greens for the turtle and its shell, plus bright red and white stripes on the lighthouse, would look great. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sea on both sides of the boat in bright blue and light blue, and the bottom of the water in royal blue, leaving the foam and wave splashes white.
- 2Fill the island bushes with leaf green and lime green, the rocks with warm gray, and add a little olive green for the grass.
- 3Color the whole boat hull in golden yellow, then add the thin rim and rope in red and coral pink.
- 4Fill the sail's red stripes in red, leaving the wide white stripes untouched, and color the mast and boom in brown and burnt orange.
- 5Color the turtle's body in lime green, its belly in light yellow, the spikes in golden yellow, the shell plates in orange and tan, and the straps in royal blue.
- 6Optional: Add light gray to the jetpack and fan, and keep the steering wheel brown for a finishing touch.
