A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big shapes: color the witch's hat in deep purple and its band in violet, then fill her cloak and sleeves with violet.
- 2Color the moon and the hat brim's shadow area in deep purple, paint the two clouds sky blue, and leave the night sky white.
- 3Fill the cat in charcoal black, leaving its eye whites and the collar area white, then color the broom bristles golden yellow and the handle chocolate brown.
- 4Paint her face and hands peach skin, her curly hair orange, and her stockings with orange and black stripes, with brown boots.
- 5Color the roof tiles terracotta red and the chimneys coral, the tree bushes leafy green and grass green, and the house walls in pale yellow, soft lilac, and sky blue.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the cloak folds and under the hat brim with the same colors to make the drawing pop.
