In a grassy yard, a smiling young witch holds up a wand tipped with a star while her other hand rests out at her side. Her outfit includes a big pointy hat with a buckle and curly tip, a short cape with a round brooch, a belted dress with wide bell sleeves, striped stockings and buckled boots. Her long wavy hair is tied back in a loose ponytail. Stars, sparkles and round bubbles drift up from the wand. Behind her stand a small thatched cottage with a round arched door, a brick chimney and stepping stones on the path, plus a wooden fence, leafy bushes and tufts of grass. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big purple areas: color the witch's dress, cape and hat in medium purple and lavender purple, leaving the sleeves and skirt highlights as you like.
- 2Fill the face and hands with peach, leaving the eye whites and the small shine spots on the face white.
- 3Color the hair in orange, then add golden yellow to the thatched roof and pale yellow to the cottage walls, keeping the small roof highlight white.
- 4Use hot pink for the hat band and buckle, and warm brown with chocolate brown for the door, belt, boots and fence.
- 5Finish with sky blue bubbles, golden yellow stars, light gray chimney and stepping stones, and grass green bushes. Optional: add a slightly darker shade of purple along the dress folds for depth.
