Log Cabin and Big Tree Presidents' Day Page
Coloring guide
This cozy log cabin sits in the middle of the page, with a puff of smoke curling up from the stone chimney. Round log ends stack up at the corners. The front has a tall wooden plank door with a round knob, two curtained windows and a small square window in the roof peak. A path of oval stepping stones runs from the door to a wooden fence up front, with grass tufts along the way. A large leafy tree stretches over the roof on the right, and rolling hills fill the background. Thick, clear outlines help little hands stay inside the lines. Warm browns and tans fit the logs, gray suits the chimney stones, and soft blue works for the window panes. It's a free printable for a quiet afternoon or a classroom activity about Presidents' Day and early American history. Kids who like Presidents' Day coloring pages usually enjoy Halloween and Gingerbread House too.

- 3Paint the big tree canopy and the upper branches with leaf green, then add forest green to the bushes and the lower leaves.
- 4Color the door with light wood and the window frames and door frame with cream beige, then fill the window panes with sky blue.
- 5Color the chimney bricks with brick red, the fence with sandy tan, and the path and front step with stone gray.
- 6Optional: add a few darker green strokes on the canopy and bushes to make the leaves look fuller.
