Luck O' the Irish Shamrocks and Rainbow

Two large shamrocks with curved stems sit at the top of the page, each with hand-drawn hatching marks inside the heart-shaped leaves. Behind them, a rainbow arcs down to a puffy cloud on the right, and a few curved lines on the left suggest the rainbow's bands. Across the bottom, bubbly block letters spell out LUCK O' THE IRISH, with small dots at the ends of the letter strokes. The thick outlines and roomy shapes are easy for younger kids to color inside. Try greens in a few different shades for the leaves, then let kids color the rainbow stripes in order from the outside in. The lettering also works well for a quick word-tracing or spelling activity before the crayons come out. It's a good printable for a St. Patrick's Day classroom table or a rainy afternoon at home.
