Marching Animal Pals and Balloons Activity Sheets
Coloring guide
Five animals walk in a happy line across a grassy meadow: a crocodile, a bear, a kitten, a puppy and a baby elephant. Each one holds the string of a large balloon, and the five balloons float in a row above them as big blank ovals that small hands can color easily. The crocodile leads the way with a big smile and a tail that curves behind him. The puppy has a round tag on its collar, and the elephant lifts one hand to hold its balloon string. A few tufts of grass and some simple flowers dot the ground. It's a free printable PDF that suits a party table, a classroom activity or a quiet afternoon. Give every balloon its own bright color and make the crocodile green. This page is part of our Activity Sheets coloring pages collection — check out Countries and Bubble Letters too.

- 1Start with the balloons: color the left one bright red, the next one lemon yellow, the middle one sky blue, the small one violet purple, and the right one emerald green. Leave the strings white.
- 2Fill the crocodile in lime green, including its head, legs and tail, then add soft yellow stripes on its belly and keep the teeth white.
- 3Color the bear and its ears and arms in warm brown, then fill the cat in orange with pale cream details on its face and paws.
- 4Add the elephant in cool gray with pink ears, and color the dog in beige with chocolate brown ears and a pale cream collar.
- 5Fill the bushes and grass with leaf green and lime green, leaving the background sky and the gaps between characters white.
- 6Optional: add a few tan shadows under the characters' feet to make them stand out on the grass.
