In the middle of a snowy scene stands a smiling matryoshka doll in a fluffy fur-trimmed hood and coat. Her mittened hands are held together in front, and each mitten has a snowflake on it. Flowers and leaves decorate her headscarf, the front of her coat and the leaf-shaped panels near her hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big blue areas first: the doll's hood, shawl and dress sides in bright blue, with royal blue on the lower dress and hem.
- 2Fill the face in peach skin, then add rose pink cheeks and brown hair along the top of the head.
- 3Color the tree in forest green, adding leaf green lower on the branches and a light touch of pale teal in the shadows.
- 4Make the mittens and the snowman's hat and scarf bright red and dark red, with the flower centers in golden yellow.
- 5Add leaf green leaves and bright red flowers on the dress and hood, and ice blue on the scarf ends.
- 6Optional: Leave the fur trims, snowman's face and body, and the snow on the tree white, and add a few light blue dots in the sky for snowflakes.
