Hospital Rooftop Helipad with Medical Helicopter, Doctor and Nurse

On a round helipad above a hospital sits a rescue helicopter, its rotor blades stretched wide and a cross on the side door. Underneath, a smiling male doctor in a white coat with a stethoscope and a smiling nurse in a cap and scrubs stand on either side of a wheeled stretcher, waiting for a patient. The hospital has glass double doors with a big cross sign above them and windows on both wings. Puffy clouds fill the sky around the helicopter. Small hands will manage the large shapes fine, while older kids can spend time on the stretcher wheels and rotor blades. Red works well for the crosses and the helicopter door, soft blue for the scrubs and windows, and yellow or white for the helipad circle. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the helicopter body, roof dome, tail fin and landing skids in bright red, and leave the cross on its side and the nose area white.
- 2Next, fill the sky-like clouds, the helicopter front window, and the building windows and glass doors with pale blue, leaving the white sign panels above the entrance white.
- 3Color the bushes and grass in grass green, the helipad rim in golden yellow, and the stretcher mattress and its side bars in orange.
- 4Fill the walls, roof edges and walkways with cream and light gray, and the rotor blades with charcoal gray. Use cool gray for the ground and the lower helipad area.
- 5Add the people: color the faces and hands peach, the hair chocolate brown, the nurse's top pale blue and her pants bright blue, and the doctor's pants bright blue. Keep the doctor's white coat, the nurse's white cap and her white shoes white, and color the doctor's shoes charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker shade of each color along one side of the helicopter and the stretcher to make the drawing look more rounded.
