Treasure Chest Surprise for a Mermaid and Her Crab Friend
Coloring guide
A smiling little mermaid with long wavy hair and a starfish clip leans over an open wooden treasure chest to peek at what's inside. She wears a seashell top, and her big scaled tail curls up behind her ending in a flowing fin. The chest is overflowing with round pearls, a small crown with a gem, a seashell and a long pearl necklace draped over the front. Beside it, a cute crab with big eyes waves its claws, and a scallop shell and starfish rest on the sandy floor. Tall wavy seaweed, a little coral and floating bubbles fill the background. All those scales and pearls give kids small spaces to practice careful coloring. Pink or lilac would suit the shell top, and shiny yellow the crown. This one is a free print for a quiet, creative moment. Love this Mermaid coloring page? You might also enjoy our Ghost and Witch coloring pages.

- 3Fill the mermaid's tail with emerald green and mint green scales, and use aqua teal for the tail fin.
- 4Color the open treasure chest in chocolate brown, then add the golden yellow trim, handles and corners.
- 5Add bright yellow to the crown, lavender purple to the shells, and bubblegum pink to the small seashell, leaving the pearls white.
- 6Optional: Finish with forest green seaweed, the crab in tomato red with pale yellow eye spots, and a light gray pebble at the bottom.
