Shell Throne for a Mermaid Princess and Her Seahorses

This detailed underwater scene shows a smiling mermaid with long, wavy hair seated on a scallop-shell throne, one hand resting on her scaly tail. She wears a shell crown, a beaded necklace, shell earrings and a seashell top with beaded straps. Strings of pearls drape across her tail, which ends in a big, flowing fin. Two seahorses float on either side of her, and starfish decorate the arms of the throne. Nearby you'll see coral, seaweed, bubbles, small fish, scattered seashells and a castle with tall towers along the right edge. The fine patterns suit older kids who like careful coloring, and the free printable also works well for calm classroom time. Soft purples and teals look nice on the tail scales, and warm pink or coral on the shells and starfish helps the mermaid stand out from the sea.
