Mermaid with Long Hair Sitting on a Rock

A mermaid sits on a rock with her head tilted down and her eyes looking softly toward the ground. Her very long hair falls in wavy strands past her waist, and a small starfish is tucked into the hair above her ear. She wears a simple top, a round earring and a beaded bracelet on one wrist. Her other hand rests on a large spiral shell beside her. Next to the shell are a little starfish and a scallop shell. Her tail curves down to a wide, ruffled fin and is covered in rows of scallop-shaped scales. This free printable has plenty of open space for smooth color blending. Try shading the scales from light to dark in ocean colors, and pick a different shade for each shell so they stand out. The long hair is also good practice for coloring between thin lines.
