Minecraft Chicken Strolling Beneath a Big Square Sun

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• amber gold
• sunny yellow
• light gray
• bright red
• tangerine orange

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the big square sun in sunny yellow, using short back-and-forth strokes for a bright, even look.
2. 2Fill the beak, the legs and the thin edges along them with amber gold, leaving the chicken's body white.
3. 3Color the wattle under the beak with bright red, keeping the small white gaps near the beak untouched.
4. 4Use tangerine orange for both feet, including the toes and heels.
5. 5Shade the side panel of the head, the stripe on the wing and the neck piece with light gray, keeping the eye spots and body white.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker gray along one edge of the light gray parts to make the chicken look more three-dimensional.
