Minecraft Ocelot Strolling With a Curly Tail

This square-headed ocelot strides across the page with a front paw stepping forward and a long, segmented tail curving up and away. The head has two small rectangular ears, a boxy snout and two blocky eyes. Little square and rectangular spots are scattered over the body, legs and sides of the head, and they're fun to fill in. There's no background, so kids can focus on the animal or add scenery of their own. Big flat shapes and thick outlines help younger children color neatly. Sandy yellow for the body and dark brown or black for the spots would look good, with a lighter shade on the snout. It's a free printable PDF, handy for a classroom project or weekend craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the main body, head, legs, neck and tail with bright orange, leaving the small white highlights on the head top and tail band unpainted.
- 2Fill the ears' front faces and the pink-tinted sides with soft pink, and color the ear sides and back leg shadows with burnt orange and peach orange.
- 3Color the cream muzzle, chin strip, cheek side and back paw with cream.
- 4Add the green eye and leave the eye white unpainted, then fill the nose with dark brown.
- 5Paint the spots on the body, legs and tail with chestnut brown, and the darker tail and cheek marks with medium brown.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange along the lower body edges and under the belly for depth.
