Moose in Pom-Pom Hat Patting a Big Snowman

A cartoon moose stands on the left wearing a pom-pom winter hat with a brim, a long scarf with fringed ends, and round mittens. One mitten rests on its belly and the other pats the side of a big snowman. The snowman has a large oval nose, small dot eyes, a curved smile, and two twig antlers sticking out of its head. Two coal buttons run down its round body. Short grass tufts and snow bumps sit along the ground at the bottom. The thick outlines and open spaces make this easy for younger kids to color. Try giving the moose a brown body, a bright striped scarf, and a hat in a favorite color, then talk about why the snowman got antlers just like the moose. You can print it free for a quiet winter afternoon at home or in class.
