Berry Picnic with Mother Hen and Baby Chicks

A big, smiling mother hen sits on a checkered picnic blanket with three fluffy chicks around her. The one on the left nibbles a strawberry, another stands on the right next to her wing, and the third bends to peck at a small plate of berries. A woven basket holds an apple and a bunch of grapes, a flower-decorated pitcher stands in the middle and a plate of strawberries and grapes sits up front. Behind the group you'll spot a leafy tree, a wooden fence, bushes, three butterflies and lots of daisy-like flowers. With so many feathers, petals and leaves, kids get plenty of small areas to color. Soft yellow works for the chicks, warm red for the strawberries and bright blue or green for the pitcher. Print the free PDF at home, whatever your age.
