Mufasa and Cub Simba Resting Together

A large adult lion with a thick, shaggy mane lies on the ground with his head tilted down and his mouth open in a happy expression. His front paws are crossed in front of him, and his long tail curls around along the bottom of the page. Tucked against his chest is a small lion cub, looking up with a wide grin and big eyes, with one little paw resting over the adult's leg. The lines are bold and clean, so the page works well for younger kids. Try giving the mane a few shades of brown and orange, then color the cub a lighter golden tone so the two stand out. Stripes on the paws and tail tip make good spots for a darker accent. It's free to print, and it also makes a nice starting point for talking about parents and little ones.
