Mufasa's Sly Smirk Close-Up, The Lion King Portrait
Coloring guide
This one is all about the face. Mufasa wears a sly, knowing smirk, his head tilted, heavy-lidded eyes glancing sideways and one eyebrow raised. Long whiskers curve out from his muzzle, and a small ear peeks from the side of his thick, sweeping mane. Nothing else is on the page except the big lion head on clean white, so kids can concentrate on the expression and the large mane areas, which work well with markers or crayons. Warm golden tan for the face, deep reddish-brown for the mane and dark charcoal for the nose is one idea. Print the free PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. This fits right in with our The Lion King coloring pages — see also Minions and Dog Man.
