Mufasa Smiling With Zazu Perched on His Shoulder

A big adult lion with a long, flowing mane tilts his head back and looks out with a calm, content smile. His whiskers, broad nose and heavy brows are drawn in clear lines, and the mane falls in long strands down the sides of his face and into a thick, jagged tuft on his chest. A small hornbill bird with a large curved beak sits close against the lion's cheek, with its long tail feathers trailing out to the left. The lion's shoulder and back fill the lower half of the page, which leaves a lot of open space for color. Try golden browns and a deep reddish-brown for the mane, then bright blue and gray for the bird so it stands out. The printable page works well for crayons or colored pencils, and the long mane strands are good practice for staying inside narrow lines.
