Offering a Sword to Her Seated Father, Mulan Scene

A young woman with long straight hair stands on the left, holding a sheathed sword out in both hands. A ribbon is tied in a bow around the scabbard near her wrist. Across from her, an older man sits on a low stone bench with his mouth wide open, as if he is speaking loudly or shouting. One of his hands is stretched out and the other rests on his knee. He wears a layered robe with a wide sash and a headband. Above them, a branch of star-shaped blossoms hangs in from the top right, and two large flowers sit in the bottom left corner. Soft clouds fill the background. Try coloring the robes in different patterns so the two characters stand apart, then use pale pinks for the blossoms. It is a printable page that also works well for talking about family stories and feelings.
