Battle Born Banner on a Wide Open Nevada Flag

Battle Born Banner on a Wide Open Nevada Flag coloring page

Coloring guide

A large rectangular flag outline holds a small emblem in the upper left corner, and the rest of the field is left wide open. The emblem has a curled ribbon across the top with the words BATTLE BORN in outlined letters. Below it sits a single five-point star, and the word NEVADA curves underneath the star. Two leafy branches with small blossoms sweep up each side and cross at the bottom. Because the big empty field is easy to fill, this works well for younger kids, while the lettering and leaves give older kids detail to work on. Try coloring the field a solid blue, then use a gray or silver crayon for the star and ribbon. You could also use the page to talk about state flags and what a state motto means. It's free to print as many copies as a class needs.
