Northern Lights Above a Stargazing Penguin

A fluffy baby penguin sits on a snowy mound with its head back, eyes and beak pointed at ribbons of northern lights across the sky. The aurora is drawn as wavy bands with vertical stripes, and sparkly stars of different sizes surround it. Jagged mountains rise behind the penguin over a frozen lake with small ice floes, snow-covered pine trees stand on both sides, and little bare shrubs with buds fill the bottom corners. Deep purples and blues work for the night sky, and bright greens and pinks in the aurora stripes will glow against it. Big shapes and open spaces suit younger kids, and the mountains and trees give older children something to shade. Grab the free PDF whenever you need a quick coloring break.
