Oddbods Pals Waving From Rocket Ship Portholes
Coloring guide
Round porthole windows on a big rocket ship each hold a smiling little face, and all four of them are waving hello. One has a curly swirl of hair, one has round bear-style ears, and two have rounded heads with a small tuft on top. I can't say for sure which Oddbods characters these are, so I've only described what's drawn. The rocket has a pointed nose, bands with dots and stripes, two side fins, and a flame trail with puffy clouds below. Out in space you'll find a crescent moon with a happy face, ringed planets, small cratered moons and lots of twinkling stars. Deep blue and purple look great on the rocket, with warm orange and yellow for the flames, so the faces pop in the windows. Print it at home for your coloring pile. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big crescent moon and its little craters in lemon yellow, then add the glowing rocket flames in tangerine orange and bright orange.
- 2Color the rocket's left and right fins and the portholes' glass with bright blue and light blue, leaving the rocket hull white.
- 3Fill the nose tip, the stripes and the red band across the rocket with fire red, and color the gray base at the bottom in slate gray.
- 4Color the baby faces with peach skin, the bear's head with caramel brown, and the shirts in sky blue, violet purple, grass green and bubblegum pink, keeping the eye whites white.
- 5Fill the porthole rims with lemon yellow and golden yellow, then color the planets in violet purple, lavender purple and mint green.
- 6Optional: add a little light brown shading on the bear's cheeks and a few darker strokes on the flames for depth.
