A swallowtail flag fills the page, with a notched right edge and a large triangle pointing in from the left. Inside the triangle are two circles, one inside the other, forming a ring in the middle. Thirteen small stars curve around the circles on the left side, and four more stars sit near the triangle's point. Long stripes run from the triangle toward the right edge, with a short center stripe between the two points. The shapes are big and the lines are clean, so it works well for younger kids using crayons. Try coloring the flag in red, white, and blue, then have children count all 17 stars together as a quick math warm-up.
