Olympic Flame Bowl With Five Rings

Olympic Flame Bowl With Five Rings coloring page

Coloring guide

Four tall, wavy flames rise from a wide, shallow bowl with a flat rim. The tallest flame sits in the middle with a pointed tip, and a smaller flame stands on each side, with a few curving tongues in between. The five Olympic rings are drawn on the front of the bowl in a thin double outline, three across the top and two tucked in below, all linked together. The big open shapes in the flames are easy for small hands to fill in. The thin ring outlines call for a sharp pencil or fine-tip marker. Try the traditional ring colors of blue, yellow, black, green, and red, then shade the flames from yellow at the base through orange to red at the tips. It also works well for talking with kids about the Olympic torch and what the rings stand for. Print as many copies as you need for a class or a home Olympics party.
