Wise Owl in Glasses, a Back to School Coloring Page

An owl with big round glasses perches on the edge of a desk, one wing folded at its side and its little beak open like it's about to share a fact. A framed chalkboard behind it shows a circle, a triangle and a star, with a small ledge of chalk along the bottom edge. On the right, three thick books are stacked on the desk, and on the left a cup holds three sharpened pencils. The owl's chest feathers are drawn as scalloped rows, with layered wing feathers and tufted ears on top. The shapes on the board are handy for talking about circles, triangles and stars as you color. Warm browns and tans suit the feathers, bright yellow works for the glasses frames, and each book spine can get its own color. Save it as a free PDF for a quick coloring break.
