A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big pink frosting areas at the top and left side of the donut with rose pink, leaving the small sprinkles white.
- 2Fill the outer glaze edges of the donut with peach orange at the bottom and left, and golden orange along the top.
- 3Paint the kitten's head and paws golden orange, then fill the dough ring around the head with mustard yellow.
- 4Color the kitten's inner ears and the donut inside the ears with baby pink, and add burnt orange stripes on the forehead and cheeks.
- 5Fill the table boards and legs with warm brown, then add the sprinkles in bright yellow, sky blue, lavender purple and leaf green.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the donut and table, and keep the kitten's eye whites and background white for a bright look.
