Peso the penguin medic drifts along in his round diving helmet, a little medic cap on top and a trail of bubbles behind him. He's looking at a big, boxy sea creature that has an elephant's trunk, tusk, ear and round eye, plus a fish tail fin at the back. A small house with a peaked roof sits on its back, and a tiny striped fish-like character smiles out of the window. The body is covered with rainbow-style arches, a flower and dots, and three leafy sea plants are scattered around the page. For colors, soft blues and greens suit the creature, Peso's cap can be red or white, and the little house looks cheerful in bright yellow. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big elephant body and head with sky blue, leaving the eye and tusk areas for later.
- 2Fill the cabin roof, balcony rails and the creature's arms with golden yellow, and the window pillars and fish fin with lemon yellow.
- 3Use pale blue for the bubble helmet glass, the cabin walls, the large and small bubbles and the elephant ear.
- 4Color the penguin's helmet with charcoal gray, its hand and foot with orange, and the plants with leaf green and dark green.
- 5Add coral red to the creature's little crest and sage gray to the fish tail, then color the flower in sky blue.
- 6Optional: Leave the penguin's face and the creature's head mostly white, and keep the elephant tusk cream for a soft finish.
