Pokémon Buddy Pikachu Perched on Ash's Cap

Pikachu perches on top of a boy's baseball cap, one paw raised in a wave and its mouth open in a happy smile. Its eyes look upward, and the round cheek circles, pointed ears and zigzag tail are all drawn in clean outlines. Below, the boy rests with his arms folded in front of him. His expression is serious, with big round eyes, spiky hair poking out around the cap and a short-sleeved shirt with wristbands at his wrists. The contrast between the cheerful Pikachu and the stern, quiet boy gives the picture a funny feel. The wide, simple shapes work well for crayons or markers. Try yellow for Pikachu with red cheeks and dark tips on the ears, then pick a bright color for the cap so it stands out from the spiky hair. The free printable page also suits a quick lesson on contrasting moods.
